Description
Help build tools that save animals every day! Work with and learn from pros! Help save animals!
AHNow is looking for a person with at least two years of Python development experience and substantial Python knowledge and skills to work with and provide back-up support for our lead Python developer. Experience and skill with GitHub is a requirement. This work involves:
- helping to maintain and expand the organization's web-scraping code base
- creating and maintaining scripts to increase the productivity of Animal Help Now's team
- creating and maintaining Cloud Functions for Firebase
- improving scripts that produce AHNow analytics from GA4 and BigQuery data
- extracting data from the AHNow data sources in order to aid the aftermath of disasters
Work with the current developer to learn the code and the workflow process.
The ideal candidate has a great attitude, enthusiasm, and love of technology - and the ability to get things done. The ideal candidate will also have love and/or respect for animals and fully support AHNow’s mission.

2-4 hours per week. Flexible hours, with occasional quick turnarounds required. SIX-MONTH MINIMUM COMMITMENT required!
