Sports Discussion Group at AHRC-NYC Adult Day Centers

Looking for Community Partners to volunteer 1-2 hours per week and facilitate a Sports Discussion Group for the people we support at one of AHRC-NYC's Adult Day Centers throughout Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island and The Bronx.

Share your love of sports. We're seeking a friendly, outgoing volunteer to facilitate a weekly discussion group. This is a lively, inclusive group where the love of the game brings people together, boosts confidence, builds friendships, and creates a sense of belonging.

Many of our participants are HUGE wrestling fans and they light upwhen they talk about their favorite superstars, mathups, and big events. But the group also loves all kinds of sports.
