Social Media & Communications Manager

Shella Environmental Youth Group (SEYG) is looking for a creative and strategic Social Media & Communications Manager to amplify our voice. We are a youth-led organization dedicated to restoring our environment and protecting indigenous biodiversity. We need an expert who can turn our field success into a powerful digital narrative that engages international donors and local stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy Development: Create and execute a multi-platform social media strategy (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, Tiktok) that aligns with our mission to empower youth as leaders in sustainability.
2. Impact Storytelling: Develop compelling content for our programs.
3. Campaign Management: Lead digital awareness campaigns for our quarterly tree-planting events and coastal protection initiatives.
4. Community Growth: Engage with global climate activists, NGOs, and potential partners to build a broader support network.
5. Advocacy: Use our platforms to sensitize the public on the importance of protecting endangered species and adopting sustainable practices.

Qualifications

1. Experience: 2–4 years in social media management, digital marketing, or non-profit communications.
2. Content Skills: Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe) and basic video editing to showcase our community-led initiatives.
3. Communication: Ability to translate complex environmental issues into engaging, easy-to-understand content.
