Board Member

Launch Pad Job Club is seeking board members to serve a 2-year term. We currently need to fill out our board with all officer roles and at-large members. The officer roles available are: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer.

We also have need for at-large members to assume leadership, or assist, with one of our committees. Our committees are:

DEVELOPMENT - grants and/or sponsorships

MEMBER ENGAGEMENT - outreach to alumni to promote support of the job club after returning to work

EMPLOYER ENGAGEMENT- outreach to area companies to promote the job club to them as a resource for both outplacement & hiring

COMMUNICATIONS: MARKETING / PR / SOCIAL MEDIA - self-explanatory

EVENTS - setting up quarterly networking events at area brew pubs, bars, restaurants, etc.

If you are interested in learning more and meeting the current board members, we will be holding an open house on Sunday, Feb 1st from 1-2 pm (location TBD). It’s the first hour of our annual retreat, and is when we like to invite prospective new members to join us for some light refreshments and networking.
