What You'll Do
• Photograph VOV programs, youth activities, sports and community events
• Capture construction training, neighborhood restoration and job sites
• Shoot portraits of volunteers, participants and community members
• Deliver edited, high-resolution images VOV can use for fundraising, media and outreach
Who This Is For
Professional and serious amateur photographers with their own equipment. Photojournalists, portrait, event and documentary photographers all welcome. Photography students are encouraged to apply — this is real portfolio work.
Time Commitment
Project and event based. Chicago area. A few hours per shoot.

Voices of Variety (VOV) is a Chicago-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2007 by Jasen Brown. Our work is prevention. We create positive outlets — sports, music, the skilled trades, entrepreneurship, mentorship, adventure and community service — so that violence and crime never get their opening.
