Care Companion – Rosener House (Afternoon Volunteer Opportunity)

Not a morning person? This afternoon volunteer opportunity may be perfect for you! Rosener House is seeking friendly, dependable volunteers to spend meaningful time with our program participants during the afternoon hours.

As a Care Companion, you will help create a welcoming and engaging environment by offering one-on-one or small-group conversation and companionship. Volunteers may also participate in enjoyable activities such as jigsaw puzzles, Bingo, tea chats, and other simple games that help keep participants socially connected and engaged.

Your presence can brighten someone’s day and provide valuable social interaction for older adults experiencing age-related cognitive challenges, including Alzheimer's disease.

Volunteer Activities May Include:

• Friendly conversation and companionship
• Playing games like puzzles or Bingo
• Participating in small group activities
• Providing encouragement and social engagement

Shift Available:

Monday – Friday

2:30 PM – 4:00 PM (PST)
