The Children’s Healing Center is the first year-round recreation facility providing social and emotional healing for kids with weakened immune systems and their families in a safe, clean environment. We utilize volunteers for all of our programs and would love for you to join us for a weekly shift at the Center.
Monday morning (9:30am-12:30pm)
- Fun programs focused on pre-school aged kiddos
- Includes ABC & Me series and other fun, play-related activities
Tuesday evening (5:30-8:30pm)
- Family-focused programs that includes dinner 1-2 times each month
Wednesday morning (9:30-12:00)
- Free play program focused on pre-school aged kids
- Has a planned craft and open play in the gym or exploratory play room
Wednesday afternoon (12:00-2:30)
- Free play program focused on pre-school aged kids
- Has a planned craft and open play in the gym or exploratory play room
Wednesday evening (5:30-8:30pm)
- Family-focused programs
All volunteers are subject to an interview and background checks. We also require a flu shot if you want to volunteer between December 1 and May 1.
