Nothing is as comforting as the unconditional love an animal gives. So many hospice patients suffer from isolation, anxiety, confusion and loneliness . We know that animals have a great healing and comforting ability.

If you are a compassionate, reliable individual with a certifiedpet therapy animal and it is insured, please consider joining the Mission Hospice team. Our patients would benefit from a visit! You must have a pet that has a completed Pet Therapy Certification and is insured for liability.

Specialty Volunteers complete patient care onboarding. Application, interview, background check, online training and orientation. A TB screening is required.
