Patient Care Hospice is seeking Veteran volunteers to provide companionship and peer connection to Veterans receiving hospice care.

Our Veteran-to-Veteran volunteers offer something truly special: a shared understanding of military service, camaraderie, sacrifice, and the experiences that can connect one Veteran to another.

As a Veteran volunteer, you may:

• Spend time visiting and providing companionship to Veteran patients
• Listen to stories and share experiences of military service
• Help patients feel seen, heard, and understood
• Participate in Veteran recognition and special hospice events
• Provide a familiar connection during an important time in a Veteran’s life
• Support families by helping create meaningful moments of connection

You don’t have to have a military story to tell. Sometimes, simply being there and understanding is enough.

Whether you served decades ago or more recently, your experience matters. Your presence matters. Your fellow Veterans deserve to know they are not alone.
