The mission of the South Hadley Council on Aging, with the support and participation of the community, identifies, advocates, and implements meaningful, education, cultural, social, volunteer and wellness activities for persons age 60 and over.
We are always looking for volunteers in a variety of roles on a regular basis or on an as-needed basis.
Dining Room: This role works in the kitchen and dining areas. It involves setting up tables, carrying food items, serving food, for regular lunches, and special events. Food safety/Allergen training will be provided. Shifts are 3 hours once a week. Requirements: ability to safely walk while carrying food, ability to stand for up to an hour at a time, customer service experience.
