About EduFilm
EduFilm is a youth-led organization using film and digital storytelling to educate, inspire, and empower communities across Africa. We produce creative, educational films and awareness content that promote learning, resilience, and social change.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a talented Graphic Designer / Brand Identity Volunteer to help create EduFilm’s professional look and feel. You’ll design our official logo, letterhead, labels, and visual templates that define our identity and make us stand out.
Main Tasks
- Design EduFilm’s official logo
- Create a simple brand kit (colors, fonts, usage guide)
- Design letterhead, business card, and email signature templates
- Create labels and social media post templates
Skills Needed
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar tools
- Good eye for clean and modern design
- Ability to deliver clear, high-quality visuals within deadlines
Deliverables
- Final logo in all formats (PNG, SVG, PDF)
- Brand color palette and font choices
- Letterhead and business card templates
- Social media banner and post templates

1️⃣ About EduFilm
EduFilm is a youth-led social enterprise that uses film and digital storytelling to educate, inspire, and empower communities across Africa.
Our content focuses on education, youth empowerment, and social change.
We want a brand look that feels:
- Creative and modern
- Educational but youthful
- Hopeful, inspiring, and African-rooted
2️⃣ Main Deliverables
Please create the following design items:
- Official Logo (in color and black & white versions)
- Brand Kit – color palette, fonts, and usage guide
- Letterhead Template (A4, editable in Word or Google Docs)
- Business Card Template
- Email Signature Template
- Social Media Post Template (square 1080x1080)
- Banner/Header Image for the EduFilm website or pages
All files should be shared in editable and final formats (e.g., PNG, SVG, PDF, or Canva link).
3️⃣ Timeline
The full branding package should be completed within 2–4 weeks.
Here’s a suggested workflow:
- Week 1: Share 2–3 logo concepts for feedback
- Week 2: Finalize logo + start brand kit
- Week 3: Design templates (letterhead, card, social media)
- Week 4: Submit all final deliverables
4️⃣ Communication
We’ll keep communication simple and direct.
- Send drafts via email or Google Drive/Canva link
- I’ll review and share feedback within 24–48 hours

5️⃣ Creative Freedom
You have full room to express creativity — feel free to:
- Propose two color directions for review
- Suggest fonts or visual elements that capture EduFilm’s energy
- Add subtle film or storytelling symbolism in the logo (optional)
6️⃣ Acknowledgment
Once your work is complete, EduFilm will:
- Credit you on our website or social media (if you wish)
- Provide a Certificate of Contribution and a professional reference letter
7️⃣ File Delivery Checklist
Before submitting, ensure the following:
✅ Logo (PNG, SVG, PDF versions)
✅ Color palette & font list
✅ Letterhead (Word or Canva)
✅ Business card (front & back)
✅ Social media template (Canva or PSD)
✅ Website banner image
