Hospice Volunteers Needed: Circle of Care Check-in Calls

AccentCare Hospice is looking for Circle of Care volunteers to engage with our hospice community by providing a weekly check-in phone call to our home patients. Our patients and caregivers who are going through the hospice experience at home benefit from this personalized, weekly support. These check-in calls ensure that they are feeling well-supported and allow them the opportunity to share how things are going with their loved one's care.

Ideally, the volunteer who is most suited for this role would have a clinical background with exceptional customer service skills and can allot 3-5 hours a week on Wednesday mornings. Typically, these phone calls are made in-office at our Middlebury or Farmington locations, but this is flexible if transportation is an issue.

Comprehensive volunteer orientation, health screenings, and training is required and provided free of charge. As a member of our Hospice Interdisciplinary Team, ongoing support, and education opportunities are also available.
