Descrição
The holiday season can be particularly difficult as our hospice patients experience changes in their illness. Enhabit is seeking kind, compassionate, and dependable volunteers to be a friendly visitor to our hospice patients. As a Friendly Visitor Volunteer, you can provide much-needed companionship and socialization as you visit the patient where they call home.
Activities that our volunteers can do may include:
- Hold a Hand
- Singing and Playing music
- Be a Good Listener
- Share a meal
- Paint Nails
- Help with a hobby
- Reading Aloud
- Play an instrument
- Do crafting with patient
- Therapeutic visits with pets
- Light Housekeeping
- Bring Flowers
- Read Magazines/Books
- Gardening
- Coloring or doing puzzles
- Play Board Games/Cards
- Run Errands
- Watching TV and just being a Friend
