Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Recruiting Specialist to help us grow our team of skilled volunteers. This individual will play a key role in identifying, attracting, and onboarding volunteers who align with our mission and organizational needs. The Recruiting Specialist will work closely with leadership to develop recruitment strategies, manage candidate outreach, and ensure a smooth onboarding process.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new employees and volunteers.
• Develop and implement strategies to attract skilled volunteers and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting, human resources, or volunteer coordination preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire potential volunteers.
• Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple recruitment efforts simultaneously.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, recruitment software, or volunteer management tools is a plus.
• Passionate about Centurions Michigan’s mission and committed to ethical and responsible recruitment practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
• Passion for Centurions Michigan’s mission to combat human trafficking.
• Background checks and relevant clearances are required.
