    Descrição

    We’re looking for a part-time or contract Technical Developer who can help us with API integration and data workflows. This role is ideal for someone with experience connecting multiple APIs, organizing data flows, and supporting interactive digital projects. You’ll collaborate with a creative and mission-driven team to build the technical foundation for our platform.

    Responsibilities

    • Research and connect to external APIs (fact-based and educational sources).
    • Design and test workflows that bring real-time data into our platform.
    • Provide technical guidance on structuring integrations for scalability.
    • Collaborate with non-technical team members to align features with storytelling and user engagement.
    • Document processes in clear, accessible language.

    Qualifications

    • Experience with API integration (REST, JSON, OAuth).
    • Familiarity with chatbot, conversational AI, or interactive web tools is a plus.
    • Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to a creative team.
    • Comfortable working in a small, early-stage nonprofit/startup environment.
    • (Bonus) Background in education, media, or nonprofit tech.
