Gentiva is one of the largest Providers of hospice services in the country. We are dedicated to offering care that helps ease the pain and discomfort of terminally ill patients as well as providing psychosocial and spiritual support to both patients and families.

Volunteer opportunities are available at Gentiva Hospice to provide friendly visits to patients and their families in homes or in health care facilities in Essex County and some of Middlesex County Ma. By Volunteering for only a few hours or days a month, you can dramatically impact the quality of life for others.

Volunteers are needed who:

• Are willing to listen, talk, play cards or watch a favorite tv show
• Are veterans interested in supporting veterans in hospice
• help patients facetime/video chat/ connect with loved ones who are unable to visit
• Read to patients and provide a supportive presence
• Play Music for patients
• Tuck-in calls
