The Print Factory is a volunteer-run, nonprofit independent bookstore and cultural hub in historic Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, founded in 2024. We are an antiracist, feminist, and queer-inclusive organization that supports the artistic and intellectual life of the local community. Role Description

We are looking for a new Board Member to lead the bookstore’s publicity to help share our mission & programming with the Bellefonte, State College, and wider Centre County communities. In joining the board, you will also assist with regular operational & strategic planning as we enter our second year.

This is a volunteer position.

What You'll Do

• Create & schedule weekly social media content on Instagram & Facebook
• Create & send monthly newsletters
• Update the bookstore website, including the calendar of events
• Share bookstore events to community calendars
• Write & send press releases to local outlets as needed

Board Member Requirements

• Staff the Bellefonte bookstore for at least one shift a week (about 2.5 hours per week)
• Attend monthly board meetings (virtual) and quarterly board retreats (in-person)
• Commit to 1+ year of board service (preferred)
• Passion for our growing community & inclusivity!

Qualifications

• Skilled in Content Creation, Digital Marketing, and Social Media Management
• Knowledge of Canva, Instagram, Facebook, Mailchimp, Wix, and/or Google Workspace is a plus!
