    Title: Volunteer – Transportation Partnership Coordinator

    Location: Remote / Los Angeles

    About the Role:

    Army Pink: Pathway to Freedom is a survivor-led nonprofit that helps survivors of domestic abuse take the first step to safety: a safe ride to a new beginning. We are launching a pilot program in Los Angeles and need a volunteer to help secure initial transportation partnerships.

    Role Overview:

    As a Transportation Partnership Coordinator, you will research potential transportation providers, reach out to them, and help lay the groundwork for safe rides for survivors. Your work will be a key step in launching our LA pilot.

    Core Responsibilities (Single Volunteer Scope):

    • Research and compile a list of potential transportation partners: local taxi companies, shuttle or van services, and fleet operators.
    • Conduct initial outreach via email or phone to gauge interest in partnerships.
    • Maintain a simple tracking spreadsheet of contacts, outreach attempts, and responses.
    • Provide a summary report with partner leads and next recommended steps for the Army Pink team.

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Strong communication skills (email and phone outreach).
    • Organization and attention to detail for managing contact lists.
    • Comfortable with research, persistence, and follow-up.
    • Experience in business development, nonprofit partnerships, or outreach is a plus.
    • Knowledge of transportation or logistics providers is helpful but not required.

    Time Commitment:

    • Short-term project: 2–12 weeks.
    • 3–5 hours per week.
    • Remote volunteer work.
