Grow-A-Row

We have started the America's Grow-A-Row season on Wednesdays and are looking for Volunteers to attend with our members. We have openings 1 or 2 dates per month. Grow-A-Row runs three farm locations where they grow produce specifically to donate to people in need. During each visit, we receive brief training on how to pick the produce ready for harvest that day. It is a fun, active way to get outside with the members and contribute to a very worthwhile cause.

We are signed up for one driver/chaperone and three members to participate each time. The work takes place at either their Milford or Clinton farm, starting at 9:45 a.m. (which includes a 15-minute training) and ending around 12 p.m. They notify us of the work location a few days in advance.
