Project Management Consulting Volunteer

Overview:

Feel the Beat is seeking a thoughtful, detail-oriented volunteer to help us strengthen our internal processes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys evaluating systems, spotting inefficiencies, and recommending practical improvements—without needing to manage day-to-day project execution. You’ll serve as an advisor to the Managing Director, helping us work smarter as we grow.

Responsibilities:

• Review current workflows, communication paths, and project structures across programs, events, and installations
• Identify gaps, bottlenecks, or redundancies in how projects are planned or completed
• Provide clear, actionable recommendations the Managing Director can implement
• Suggest templates, processes, or tools that could help us stay organized and efficient
• Share best practices for small-but-growing nonprofits

Ideal Skills:

• Experience in project management, operations, organizational development, or process improvement
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to translate complex workflows into simple, adoptable suggestions
