Coding Track Volunteers

BuildPlayLearnLabs is seeking motivated and dedicated volunteers to teach, assist, and mentor youth in our Coding Track programs. This role offers a unique opportunity to support our mission of fostering STEM education and youth development.

The following roles are currently available:

• Lead Instructor – Teach Scratch or Python lessons and lead the classroom.

• Assistant Instructor – Support the lead, guide small groups, and help with projects.

• Classroom Mentor – Encourage students, provide one-on-one guidance, and foster confidence.

• Support Volunteers – Help with setup, materials, and student assistance.

Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of coding (Scratch, Python, or similar)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Passion for teaching and mentoring youth

Position Details:

• Part-time internship with flexible hours
• Hybrid program with opportunities to work from home
• Work closely with the founder and lead projects
