About:

Project Send It is a volunteer-run 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to breaking down the barriers to climbing and making the sport accessible to all kids. We provide resources to families looking for healthy activities for kids, including fi nancial assistance for climbing programs. The Cascadia Chapter is based in NW Oregon and SW Washington.

Position Overview:

The Cascadia Board Members work together to carry out all activities of the Cascadia Chapter of Project Send It, including but not limited to:

• Running the Sendership program
• Building and maintaining relationships with local climbing gyms and youth organizations
• Spreading the word about our program, including tabling at local community fairs and designing and distributing marketing materials
• Securing funding for the chapter

Board members distribute the workload depending on time availability and individual expertise. Ideal candidates will be passionate about PSI’s mission and will bring creativity and dedication to the role.

This is an unpaid volunteer position; the estimated time commitment is 6-10 hours per month.
