Light The Night Portland

At Light The Night, we gather as a community to celebrate, honor, and remember those touched by cancer. Friends, families, schools, corporate teams, and sponsors join together to bring light to the darkness of cancer. The funds raised by this community fund lifesaving research, advocacy and support for blood cancer patients and their families.

Volunteer Roles:

To bring our walk to life, we require the support of:

• 50 general event help volunteers to assist with a variety of areas from 5-8:30pm
• 15 clean up volunteers from 8-9:30pm

Parking Logistics: Participant parking will be available in the OMSI parking lots located at:

Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI): 1945 SE Water Ave, Portland, OR 97214

Participants should park in the designated OMSI North and South parking lots and follow event signage to the Light The Night event site. Parking is managed by OMSI through the Parking Kitty system. Current parking rates are $5 for up to 2 hours or $8 for all-day parking (5:00 AM to 11:00 PM). Guests arriving after 5:00 PM may park for $2 during evening hours. Parking may be paid through the Parking Kitty mobile app, parking kiosks, or at the OMSI front desk. Accessible parking spaces are available in the OMSI lots for vehicles displaying a valid disabled parking permit.
