St. John's Episcopal Church - Food Distribution

Join us every fourth Thursday of the month at St. John’s Episcopal Church to make a meaningful impact in the lives of over 500 families from the greater Indio area by helping with food distribution. Your support ensures that essential food items reach those in need.

Volunteer Role:

Title: Food Distribution Team Member

Objective: Organize and distribute food to families efficiently and with a friendly attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Unload Pallets: Assist with unloading and organizing food items. (Lifting 25-50 lbs.)
• Bag Food: Help package food items into bags for distribution.
• Distribute Food: Greet and assist recipients in collecting their food.

Qualifications:

• Team Player: Enjoy working as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry food items as specified.
• Positive Attitude: Bring enthusiasm and a willingness to help.

When & Where:

• Date: Every fourth Thursday of the month
• Time: 12:30 PM - 4:00 PM
• Location: St. John’s Episcopal Church, 45319 Deglet Noor St., Indio, CA
