Urgent need for volunteer to complete free training with company to assist hospice patient in Walnut Cove NC with companionship visits. Client does know some english but is more confident with native language. We are looking for someone who is bilingual and could speak openly with her. This particular opportunity is for companionship and may include giving her a snack from kitchen or a drink of water if needed. Her son may step away for a break at times as well so this would also allow him some respite time. Other opportunities available in area and other areas as well.

Requirements- approximately 13 hours of training provided online or in office per request; TB test paid for and provided in office or at a mutual meeting spot; Valid NC Driver's License; Current proof of vehicle insurance; Permission for back ground checks (cannot have any convictions of elder abuse); Photo for Well Care Badge ID and completion of orientation (aprox 1 hr at office or mutual meeting place).
