Make friends, gain experience, and have fun co-leading 45 minute small group kids' classes in Capitol Hill. Volunteer openings are available from September 2025-June 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Arrive 9am, enjoy coffee + treats with other teachers while setting up
- Welcome children and sign them into class
- 45 minute lesson includes a story, an activity/game, and a snack
Frequency: 2-4 Sundays each month
Requirements:
- Background check (WCF protocol for working with children)
- Attend teacher training session
Teacher training sessions are available throughout the year and are flexible (virtual offerings are available!). Email maryalex@wcfchurch.org with any and all questions.
