Help Line Volunteer: Furniture Line

Do you want to volunteer in a friendly environment where other volunteers and staff get to know each other? Where bi-monthly volunteer lunches are planned to show appreciation?

Then consider this volunteer opportunity: Friends In Deed’s FURNITURE HELPLINE.

We need volunteers who can commit to one morning a week working on our helpline. Currently, we need volunteers Monday through Friday from 9:30am-2:00pm. Timeslots are dependent upon your availability.

Tasks would include taking phone calls from donors and clients, advising clients as to what crisis situation documentation is needed to begin the process of getting on the wait list, completing intakes with clients, taking information from donors as to items being donated, etc.
