The Green Cause is a youth-led environmental nonprofit dedicated to educating our future generations and platforming young environmental stewards & leaders. Through engaging educational workshops, community initiatives, and our chapter program, we empower youth and communities to take action in protecting our planet. Our mission is rooted in collaboration, innovation, and inspiring the next generation to lead sustainable lifestyles and create lasting impact.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The External Environmental Projects Coordinator oversees external projects, including Environmental 101, local stewardship events, and collaborations with volunteering organizations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and support student-led environmental projects and events
- Contact and onboard prospective members
- Review member’s Environmental 101 article submissions
- Conduct outreach to volunteer sites and organizations
- Coordinate collaborations with local environmental initiatives
OTHER DETAILS
Please note that this is an unpaid position, but we do award community service hours.
