SAT Tutor (Math & English) ~ Help a Future College Student Through SAT prep

Make a lasting impact by helping a motivated high school student achieve their college goals.

Our after school tutoring program is seeking a dedicated volunteer to provide one-on-one SAT preparation for an 11th-grade student who is preparing for college admissions. The student is looking for comprehensive SAT support, with a particular emphasis on English writing and Math.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys mentoring students and wants to help increase educational access and college readiness.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one SAT tutoring in English (Reading/Writing) and Math.
• Help the student strengthen test-taking strategies, time management, and confidence.
• Encourage consistent progress toward the student's SAT goals.

Time Commitment:

• Available to meet 2 hours per week (schedule to be coordinated with the student and family).
• We are seeking a volunteer who can commit for at least one academic semester to provide consistency and meaningful support. (August -December)

Location:

• Virtual Zoom or in person (flexible with availability and mutual scheduling).
