About Us:

The Veterans Memorial & Support Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to

uplifting veterans, service members, and their families. Our mission is grounded in gratitude and

guided by three timeless pillars:

• To Honor and Preserve In 2019, we funded and built The Flame of Liberty Memorial—a

shining tribute to courage and sacrifice, in the heart of Silicon Valley. Standing in remembrance

of service members, veterans, first responders, and two local 9/11 heroes, it endures as a symbol

of freedom and unity for generations to come. Today we continue to financially support and

deliver the memorial's maintenance.

• To Educate and Engage
We inspire understanding and appreciation within our

communities—reminding all of the cost of freedom and the courage and sacrifices of those who

defend it.

• To Support and Empower: Through programs and partnerships, we bring hope, connection,

care and healing in those who have served – and to the families who stand beside them

Position Overview:

We are seeking a General / Casual Volunteer to join our supportive and compassionate team.

This is a flexible, non-paid position ideal for someone who enjoys helping out at different events,

projects, and activities throughout the year. Volunteers may assist with setup, registration, guest

support, fundraising events, or community outreach programs — depending on their availability

and interests.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with a variety of Foundation events and activities as needed\
• Help with event setup, coordination, and cleanup
• Provide support to Veterans, guests, and staff during events
• Participate in outreach, awareness, or fundraising activities
• Represent the Foundation with a positive and respectful attitude
• Collaborate with other volunteers and team members as needed

Qualifications:

• A genuine passion for supporting Veterans and honoring their service
• Friendly, reliable, and flexible to help where needed
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow directions and work independently when required
• No prior experience necessary — training and guidance provided

Commitment:

This is a casual, flexible volunteer role — you choose when and how often you can help, based

on upcoming events and your schedule.
