Students who have mentors are more likely to stay in school, see improvements in their mental health, hold leadership positions and go one to mentor others. We know mentoring works, but is also seems scary, right? What if you don't connect well with them? What if you say the wrong thing or don't have the right answer? What if you don't have the time to commit?

These are all the right questions to be asking! Mentoring with Catalyst is different. Teens who sign up for our program are looking for specific guidance around who they are uniquely made to be (Identity), what they are doing with their lives (Purpose), and where they fit in (Belonging). This is why we created the Purpose Project. The Purpose Project is a series of six, one hour conversations we will train you to have with teens and young adults. As a certified Purpose Project Guide (mentor), you will be able to have the most important conversations with students that we all wish someone would have had with us when we were young.
