Project-based volunteer role

Culture Lime is looking for someone who can help us build a simple, repeatable grant process that Culture Lime can continue using long after the project is finished.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

You'll help build Culture Lime's grant research and application system by:

• Researching grants that align with Culture Lime's programs, mission, and geography.
• Creating a centralized grant opportunity tracker.
• Identifying eligibility requirements, deadlines, funding amounts, and application requirements.
• Developing a simple system for prioritizing opportunities.
• Organizing Culture Lime's existing grant materials, language, statistics, program descriptions, budgets, and organizational information.
• Creating reusable grant-writing templates and language.
• Building a grant application checklist and timeline.
• Identifying what information Culture Lime needs to collect regularly to strengthen future applications.
• Documenting the process so someone else can maintain it.

THE GOAL

A pipeline that communicates

• What's available
• What we're eligible for
• When it's due
• How much it could fund
• What the funder is looking for
• Who owns the application
• What materials are needed
• Where the application stands
• What happens next

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

By the end of the project, you'll help create:

• A database of 50–75 relevant grant opportunities
• A prioritized list of the strongest opportunities
• A grant calendar with deadlines
• A grant application checklist
• A reusable Culture Lime grant language bank
• A folder structure for grant materials
• A simple application workflow
• A process document someone can follow without you

The goal is to create a fundraising machine that can actually be used.

YOU MIGHT BE OUR PERSON IF...

• You enjoy research and finding opportunities other people miss.
• You are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
• You've written grants before or you've worked in fundraising, research, nonprofit operations, or project management.

Project period- ASAP- December 31st 2026

Expected commitment- 7 Hours a week
