Treasurer

North East Wake Backpack Buddies is a 100% volunteer-run 501c3 nonprofit organization that helps provide weekend meals to children facing food insecurity in North East Wake County (Wake Forest, Rolesville, Knightdale and Zebulon). We are looking for an individual to join our Board as Treasurer with skills and interest in accounting/bookkeeping for our organization. QuickBooks Online experience helpful. Board members assist with running the program by organizing food packing events quarterly, attending special events and assisting with strategic direction and planning. The Board meets on the second Tuesday evening of the month to plan, discuss, and organize all aspects of the organization. Board members hold the position for a 3 year term.
