🎥 Virtual Events Director – We Are Artistic

Time Commitment: 1–2 hours per week, Location: Remote / Discord-based

📝 Role Overview: As Virtual Events Director, you’ll co-lead the planning and execution of WAA’s online events. From workshops to showcases, you’ll help create meaningful experiences that reflect our mission and energize our community. You’ll also support the Events Department by coordinating logistics, mentoring volunteers, and ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes. You can rebrand the department however you want. This role is open to individuals who are currently enrolled in high school.”

🌟 Key Responsibilities

• Co-organize and host engaging virtual events that align with WAA’s goals and audience.
• Use prior experience in event planning to manage timelines, delegate tasks, and troubleshoot challenges.
• Guide and support event volunteers, ensuring everyone understands their role and feels empowered.
• Work closely with the Events Team to align efforts and maintain clear communication throughout each project.
• Sign off on community service forms for volunteers upon request.

🎨 Qualifications:

• Have experience planning or hosting virtual events.
• Communicate clearly and lead with confidence.
• Are organized, responsive, and detail-oriented.
• Enjoy mentoring and working with a team.
