Georgetown Area Companionship Volunteers Needed

Do you have an interest in helping a neighbor? Do you want to give back to your community? Gentiva Hospice is looking for volunteers to provide companionship and support to patients and their families in the Georgetown area. This may include sitting at bedside, reading, socializing, holding a hand or just listening and talking with the family. Volunteers make visits in homes or nursing communities. This is a non medial role. No experience is needed and you have the option of choosing your schedule. It is a very flexible volunteer role.
