Role Overview:

As a Volunteer Real Estate Agent, you will play a critical role in guiding our organization through property acquisition, from identifying opportunities to assisting with negotiations and compliance. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact while gaining experience in nonprofit real estate, with the potential to transition into a paid role.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate properties and land suitable for nonprofit use.
• Assist with market research, property visits, and assessments.
• Support negotiations and provide strategic real estate guidance.
• Advise on nonprofit-specific considerations, including grants, tax incentives, and zoning.
• Collaborate with the executive team and legal counsel for compliance.

Qualifications:

• Licensed real estate agent (commercial experience preferred).
• Passion for nonprofit work and community impact.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with nonprofit property financing, grants, or tax exemptions is a plus.
