OVERVIEW
The J Healthcare Initiative, a non-profit organization, is actively seeking passionate, committed, and driven students for our College Chapter program. As a volunteer, you will have a unique opportunity to support our mission to stop the toxic drug crisis through community-based overdose prevention initiatives, community building and evidence-based policy work. We know everyone's story is different, so we proudly support each person's individual health decisions and goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a College Chapter Volunteer, you will:
- Facilitate events to educate the campus community about the ongoing overdose crisis
- Advocate for full spectrum harm-reduction and promote the J healthcare Initiative at your institution.
- Organize fundraising events to raise critical funds and awareness for the overdose crisis and individualized treatment options.
- Facilitate educational workshops to raise awareness about the benefits of legal-prescription access to regulated opioids and stimulants.
- Advocate for full-spectrum harm reduction and promote the J Healthcare Initiative's mission at your institution.
- Organize events to raise critical funds and awareness for expanded access to safe, regulated drugs and individualized treatment options.
REQUIREMENTS
- Enrolled in a college or university
- Passionate about evidence-based drug policy reform
- Capable of maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
- Ready to serve one academic year at a minimum (encouraged to serve longer)
