Arthritis Foundation Walk in West Orange- Day of Event

Sign up to volunteer at Walk to Cure Arthritis West Orange:

Pre-Event- Help to spread awareness about the Arthritis Foundation and Walk to Cure Arthritis to local communities.

Set up- (6:15-8:15 a.m.)- Volunteers are needed to help set up the Walk to Cure Arthritis.

Registration/Check-In/ T-Shirt Tent- (7:00 a.m- 10:00 a.m)- These volunteers will be responsible for registering/checking in participants that are not currently registered, but also anyone turning in money. We will also need volunteers for volunteer check-in. The volunteer would give the pre-assigned role and t-shirts to the volunteers. We all will need registration volunteers to work the t-shirt tent as well.

Greeters- (7:15 am- 9:30 am)- These volunteers will help guide event participants to the different areas of the Walk.

Course Directors: (8:45am- 11:00am)- Help direct participants on the route as they are walking around Orange Reservoir.

Breakfast: (7:00am- 11:00am)- Help serve breakfast to participants and stock food area.

Mission Tent (7:00am- 11:00am)- Volunteers will help spread the mission of the Arthritis Foundation.

Finish Line: (9:15am- 11:00am)- Cheer on the participants as they begin the Walk and cross the finish line.

Breakdown (10:00am-12:30pm)- Help us pack up after the Walk.

Photographer (7:30am-11:30am)- Help take pictures throughout the Walk.

Cheer Crew- (9:00 a.m.- 11:00 am) - These volunteers will be cheering on all of the Walkers as they cross the start line and finish line. They will also be giving direction for the first walkers to get onto the Reservoir.

Route Crew- (9:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m.)- They will also be placed on the route to cheer on the Walkers and encourage everyone participating. They will also be stationed at our Water Stop on the Route.

Special Event Photographers (7:00 am- 11:00 am)- Volunteers are needed to take pictures at multiple locations throughout the Walk site and the route.

Clean-up Crew (9:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.)- Help clean up/breakdown the Walk site and load the van
