Youth Leadership Coordinator (Volunteer)

• Compensation includes: A small stipend, academic credit, and or a letter of recommendation

Gaea's Coop is a community-driven innovation hub that equips the youth with the tools to design socially just, economically vibrant, and environmentally sustainable cities through systems thinking, storytelling, worldbuilding, and creative experimentation.

We need support prepping our Quest of Change Fellowship

April - June 2026 is preparing our lessons, activities and fieldtrips (Mainly Remote)

July - August 2026 is when we get the interns and must execute to best support their development (Mainly In-person)

As a Youth Leadership Coordinator, you will:

1. Choose what house you will lead

Viridia: Caring for people & the planet, healing, restoration and nurturing life

Innovare: Solving problems through science, engineering, and innovation

Harmonia: Bring people together for collective action, building networks, managing resources

Euphora: Inspire, express, and influence though creative work including art, storytelling, culture, and emotional experience

Lumina: Seek deeper meaning and imagine new realities, philosophy

Valiant: Standing for causes, taking bold actions, protecting others, courage, loyalty, persistence

2. Orientation

We will do small tasks together to better understand what is needed to successfully support the youth development coordinate to organizations to provide real world experience.

3. Choose Your Timeline

Choose how long you would like to support the development. We prefer longer commitment so you can get a deeper understanding of our mission but appreciate all help and work around schedules.
