New Jersey Angels believes that not everyone is called to foster or adopt, but everyone can make a difference in a child's life, and one of the ways we hope to do that is through our Love Box program. The Love Box program provides fostering families (caregivers, children in foster care, and biological/adopted children) with community and holistic support. As a Love Box group, you will be matched with a local foster family based on location, compatibility, and scope of needs. When our families are matched with committed volunteers who show up monthly, parents feel supported and children gain a greater sense of normalcy, relational permanency, and self confidence.
We have a family of six in Williamstown eagerly waiting to be matched with a caring volunteer! Mom and Dad have two older children-a 10-year-old boy and a 9-year-old girl-and are also the kinship guardians of twin toddlers, a boy and a girl.
The family is seeking relational support with activities like babysitting, tutoring, trips to the library, playdates, and creating opportunities for Mom and Dad to enjoy a much-needed date night. They could also benefit from practical assistance with items such as diapers, household supplies, and groceries.
Additionally, Mom would love to connect with a supportive friend to share her fostering journey.
Your support could make a meaningful difference in their lives!
