Role: Companion Visitor for a vibrant, well-traveled elder (70+)

Are you someone who finds deep purpose in giving back to our elderly community? Do you believe in the power of presence, compassion, and human connection-especially for those who may struggle to express themselves but still long to be seen, heard, and valued?

We are seeking a caring, compassionate volunteer to spend time with a joyful and intelligent elder who has lived a rich life full of travel and experiences. Though aging has brought challenges in communication, this participant radiates warmth, humor, and a love for socializing. They often speak in complex phrases that reflect a lifetime of wisdom, even if the message isn’t always clear. What they truly need is someone who listens with their heart.

What You’ll Do:

• Visit regularly to offer companionship and emotional support
• Engage in light conversation, storytelling, or simply sharing quiet moments
• Celebrate the participant’s vibrant personality and life journey
• Be a gentle presence who understands that aging brings many layers-and that every elder deserves dignity, respect, and joy
