Sanctuary Hospice Volunteers have many skills and talents to share with our hospice patients and their families! One of them is quilting and sewing, making last heirlooms and keepsakes for families to remember their loved ones. Having these beautiful comfort items gives bereaved families something tangible to hold onto and hug when they are missing them the most! This is an opportunity that can be completed locally or remotely.
We currently have offices located in Columbus, Beavercreek, and Mason, Ohio! Supplies can be picked up/ dropped off to any of these locations if you are local. Volunteers can also choose to participate from afar! We are happy to ship you any clothing items and then you would mail the memory item back to us. Memory items can include quilts, bears, pillows, ect! We are always open to ideas from our volunteers.
Please reach out to our Volunteer Director Maggie Penick at MaggiePenick@SanctuaryHospiceOH.com if you are interested or have any questions! Thank you!
