Do you love creating joy, making kids smile, decorating, dancing, celebrating, or bringing positive energy into the community? Our Purpose Project is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help launch our new monthly initiative: Birthday With Purpose: a Childhood Celebration Initiative; dedicated to ensuring children facing hardship still experience the joy of being celebrated.
We are currently seeking:
- Birthday Specialists
- Celebration Volunteers
- Activity & Craft Volunteers
- Photo/Content Volunteers
- Music & Entertainment Volunteers
- Food & Setup Helpers
- Gift & Goodie Bag Assistants
- Character & Mascot Volunteers
About the Program:
Each month, we will celebrate 25–30 children ages 4–16 who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience a birthday celebration due to financial hardship, foster care, housing instability, kinship care, or other life challenges.
Volunteers will help us create:
- joyful memories
- fun activities
- positive affirmations
- birthday recognition moments
- a safe and welcoming environment for every child
Ideal Volunteers Are:

- Creative and team-oriented
- Passionate about youth and family support
No experience required just heart, positive energy, and a willingness to serve.
Volunteer Opportunities May Include:
- Monthly birthday celebrations
- Special event support

- Decorating and setup
- Youth engagement activities
- Future holiday and community initiatives

Birthday With Purpose is a dignity centered initiative serving children and families experiencing hardship. We are seeking volunteers who are compassionate, respectful, reliable, and committed to creating a joyful and safe environment.
We welcome volunteers who are compassionate, positive, reliable, and passionate about creating joyful experiences for children and families in our community.
Please complete all required application questions thoroughly. No prior experience is required just a willingness to serve with kindness and professionalism.
Additional Information:
- Volunteers under 18 may require parent/guardian consent.
- Some volunteer opportunities may involve setup, decorating, activities, food distribution, photography, or entertainment support.
- Volunteers working closely with children on a recurring basis may be subject to additional screening or background verification.
- Monthly celebrations are currently planned for the second Wednesday of each month.
- Community service hours may be available upon request.
- Bilingual volunteers, creatives, performers, and individuals with experience in youth engagement are encouraged to apply.
