Responsibilities And What You Will Do:
- Provide leadership, support, advocacy, and vision to onboarding and offboarding coordinators and support staff
- Work in collaboration with the On & Offboarding Manager and HR Talent Acquisition leadership team
- Oversee a team working in Onboarding and Offboarding
- Develop new strategies and programs to streamline the onboarding and offboarding process
- Ensure all necessary documentation is recorded for new volunteers and tasks among team members are completed on time.
- Work with the offboarding team to remove inactive volunteers from all platforms
- Communicate with managers in other departments about new team members.
- Work closely with the HR Department to share best practices, provide assistance on critical needs, and coordinate global-level initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Oversee the daily workflow of the department.
- Provide constructive and timely performance feedback.
- Attend monthly team meeting on the second Tuesday of each month at 12:30pm EST.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field a plus.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
- Understanding of applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (a plus).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Must be available to volunteer 10-15 hours a week.
