Hospice Volunteer Opportunity

Bilingual Volunteers are needed in the Tucson area to make friendly, caring visits to hospice patients and their families. Some patients have few family members or friends in the area to visit them; a volunteer makes a huge difference in their lives—you are their HERO! Being a hospice volunteer is also very rewarding for the volunteer. You discover how much your visits mean to the patients and their families, and it fills your tank as well.

This Gentiva Hospice branch serves patients across the North, East, South, and West Tucson metro areas.

We provide all the training you will need to feel confident in your role as a volunteer. After the application process and training, most volunteers are assigned to one or two patients and make weekly visits with them. Volunteers can visit at a time convenient for them and the family they serve.
