About Our Community

Friends Beyond Boston – Waltham Social (20s–40s) is a local community built around genuine connection, small events, and welcoming spaces where people can actually get to know each other.

We’re a member-led group, which means members are welcome, never required, to host or cohost simple events with support. It’s how we keep things fun, varied, and shaped by the people who make this community special.

About This Event

Friends Beyond Boston has our very own table at the Somerville Connection Expo, and we’re looking for a few members to come help us out!

FBB doesn't grow or function on events alone. The fun events are possible because members also help with the things that build and sustain the community, like getting FBB in front of new people, helping with outreach, and representing the group at events like this.

This is one of those opportunities.

You'll spend part of the day hanging out at the FBB table, chatting with people who stop by, and helping introduce them to the community. Then you can explore the rest of the expo, check out other local groups, and enjoy the event yourself.

No experience is needed, and you don't have to be an organizer. We're just looking for a few members who are willing to spend some time helping FBB grow.
