Volunteer with us at the Palm Beach County Food Bank to sort and pack food items! You will be a hunger hero as the food you pack will be distributed to thousands of people in our community struggling to put food on the table.
The minimum age to volunteer is 14.

To help ensure a smooth and successful volunteer experience, please review the important information below:
Volunteer Guidelines
- Arrival: Please arrive about 15 minutes early.
- Orientation: A brief volunteer orientation will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m.
- Footwear: Closed-toe shoes are required (no sandals or flip-flops).
- Clothing: Wear comfortable clothing; t-shirts, shorts, and polo shirts are acceptable.
- Masks: Optional.
- Gloves: Provided when handling perishable foods (e.g., fruits and vegetables).
- Breaks: Volunteers will receive one 20-minute break. Water will be available, and snacks will be provided in the employee lounge.
- Note: No cell phone use or eating is permitted in the volunteer work areas.
