Are you looking to make an impact on people in need while earning volunteer credits? Then come volunteer with us at Alpha Comfort Care! We are looking for college students who want to connect with the elderly population in hospice. Being a companion for them and engaging in activities such as reading, listening to music, puzzles, knitting, and more.
Some requirements to become a Hospice Companion are:
- Complete an application and consent to a background check, then return it to us.
- Take a TB test at a doctor's office.
- Complete 9 CEUs during orientation.
- Submit a copy of your driver’s license, social security card, and auto insurance card.
- Attend an in-person orientation.
- Meet your patient.
