Holiday Hands Program – Volunteer Opportunities

The Holiday Hands program is in full swing, and we’re looking for volunteers to help make the season brighter for local families in need! Each year, hundreds of families visit our Volunteer Center to “shop” for gifts in a warm and welcoming environment — and it all happens thanks to community volunteers like you.
There are a variety of ways to get involved this year:
🎁 Facilitator / Front Desk (Bilingual Volunteers Needed)
Assist with answering phones, scheduling client appointments, greeting visitors, receiving donations, and keeping the front desk organized.
📅 November–December
💳 Gift Card Processing Training
Learn how to process and track gift cards for donors and clients. A background check is required for future shifts.
📅 November 20 | 1 PM–3 PM
📦 Inventory & Organizing Donations
Help unpack and sort donations, organize items, and prepare the Holiday Hands Shop.
📅 November–December
🛍️ Gift Store Helpers (English & Bilingual Volunteers Needed)
Support families as they shop for gifts during the Holiday Hands Gift Store!
📅 December 15–20
- Morning: 9 AM–12 PM
- Midday: 11:30 AM–2:30 PM
- Afternoon: 3 PM–6 PM
- Evening: 5:30 PM–8:30 PM
🎄 Gift Store Facilitators (English & Bilingual Volunteers Needed)
Welcome clients, manage store entry, and help ensure smooth operations during shopping hours.
📅 December 15–20 | Shifts available throughout the day
🎁 Gift Store Stocking & Organization
Keep the shop stocked and organized by restocking shelves, bringing items from storage, and creating an inviting shopping space for families.
📅 December 15–17 | 11 AM–1 PM & 5 PM–7 PM
💌 Gift Card Distribution
Assist in distributing gift cards to families during the Holiday Hands shopping week.

🧹 Holiday Hands Clean-Up & Breakdown
Help wrap up another successful season by cleaning and packing up the Holiday Shop, returning shelves upstairs, and organizing supplies.
