Pet Therapy at Renown Health

Renown Health has acknowledged the healing power of animals in the healthcare setting since 1997. Our volunteer handlers and their registered, insured therapy dogs are warmly and enthusiastically welcomed by patients, employees, families and visitors throughout our facilities.

We can walk you through the certification steps if this is new for you. If you have a dog that enjoys people and has basic obedience down, we can help!

Requirements for dogs: Canine Good Citizenship certification and membership as a therapy dog required. Must be at least one year of age.

Dogs who are already certified welcome, contact us for additional information.
